This was a team project within my Fashion Media and Promotion course where we had to create a fashion film with a partner. I worked with Kanna Kawakita who was another Fashion Media & Promotion student and we created an Interactive Fashion Film. There are not many fashion films that are made in an interactive way so we decided to be different and create one. We used Youtube Annotations to link the videos together thus allowing the viewer to select what world they wanted the model to enter. There is interaction throughout the whole film where in the next section the viewer must choose the reaction that the model will have when entering a particular world. The film is based off the juxtaposition between dystopian and utopian worlds. The dystopian world was inspired by underground club culture whereas utopia was inspired by hippie cultures. This project was my first real experience creating a fashion film and everything that came with that. It definitely pushed me and expanded my tech knowledge with learning how to make an interactive film.
