In the summer of 2015 I was an intern for TABS which stands for ‘The Authentic Bermuda Shorts.’ TABS is a lifestyle brand designed for island living and was founded by Rebecca Hanson. At this point TABS was still a pretty new business on the island so that made my experience even more interesting because we got to see and do things that we maybe would not have if it was a bigger or older company. TABS was part of The Bermuda Fashion Festival which happens every summer in Bermuda for a week usually in mid July. The Bermuda Fashion Festival fills the week with loads of things to do including: shows, cocktail parties and more. The festival even has an International Designer Show which brings in new designers to the island and showcases the talent that so many people around the world have. TABS was part of the Local Designer Show and I had the opportunity to help with styling and dressing the models backstage.

We as interns were set a task to organise a photoshoot wearing the TABS Shorts. With that we also had the opportunity to style and photograph our ideas to possibly be used by the creative team. Above is a photograph of me modelling in an outfit that I styled. Both Jessica and I modelled and photographed each other.
