This was a project where we were required to create a zine based off a word from a word bank given. I chose the word HYBRID because I am both Bermudian/Canadian and wanted to make my zine quite personal. As a result, I was inspired by winter/summer which was combining the two climates that I associate Bermuda and Canada with. Canada is associated with the cold and Bermuda is associated with hot. I wanted to create a haze effect for the background to make it seem like it was winter. I made a contrast between the two elements by combining winter and summer clothes creating hybrid outfits therefore working with the theme of my zine. In addition, the title 'EhBie' is a combination of Canadian and Bermudian slang words.
