Claude Creatives is an Instagram account I created alongside my personal account to display my creative work. Plus, I use this page to challenge myself to create more and therefore expand my knowledge and skills with Art Direction and layouts. When I first started the account, I set myself a task to create one editorial spread a day for 100 days and each day the layout would be inspired by a word or something ‘i.e.’ an event that happened that day. The words and quotes that I used I hope have/will inspire others to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. At first I didn’t know how I was going to come up with a word or a daily design but once I started I looked forward to the next days creation every time I finished a design. With everything that is going on with Covid it gave me time to think of something else. Additionally, I post my uni work from previous years, collaborations and have started creating editorial covers as another task for myself. Social media and especially Instagram is a vital tool used today to allow people to display creative content and gain awareness to themselves whether that be for personal, political, creative and or business related use. In creating a creative Instagram I am opening up the creative possibilities within my mind and allowing them to flow on another platform other than this site.
