SHOWREEL
–
This was the showreel I created when I was a final year student at the University for the Creative Arts. We were required to create a showreel that went alongside our Final Major Project. I was pretty excited about this because I got to put together some of my best work throughout my 3 year degree course studying Fashion Media and Promotion and make video based on that. I had gotten experience creating films as you have seen in the Fashion Film unit; as well as, the Innovation For Industry and Industry Awareness units so I had an idea of how I wanted it to look and flow. I did find it a bit more challenging because I have done more photography and still layouts but I like a good challenge and am always willing to learn new things. Everything that is shown within this video can be found within my portfolio. I honestly think that this was the best course for me because we learned about so many different aspects of the industry through our projects and studies. Examples are as follows: concept development, Fashion PR, event planning, sourcing models, art directing, mood boarding, styling, photography, videography, presenting, industry experience and more. This course has helped me find areas in the creative industry that I truly do love and would like to learn more about. Although it was challenging at times I wouldn’t have had it any other way because it made me stronger and know that I could do anything I set my mind to.
